Dark and Dreary Halloween Night.....

I just finished another sheet metal wall hanging for Halloween! I used acrylics and inks to paint the evening sky, added a few embellished papers, and a stamped and prismacolor 'painted' owl! This wall hanging is ready to greet your 'trick or treaters!' "It was a dark and dreary night.....Whoo's there?"

~*Vacation on My Mind*~

I must have vacation and travel on my mind!! I noticed that a few of the shelf sitters that I have been working on are all about going and being somewhere else!! Maybe I am in the mood for being 'rekindled!!' Oh, yeah!

Well, anyway, I have more of that recycled wood out in the garage and I came up with a few more ideas for shelf sitters! I found the perfect postage stamp for my 'jetsetter' and the 'beach thing' and 'cruisin' are for my love of the water!! I hope you enjoy these as much as I have enjoyed working on them!!

HALO - Helping Animals Live On - Phoenix

Another incredible day at Angel's Serenity Art Fair in Scottsdale this past weekend! I met some fantastic, upbeat people and found out about a Thrift Boutique here in the valley that is raising money for an animal rescue. If you are in the area, please check out www.halorescue.org! If you have any items that you want to donate, including furniture, household items, and clothing, please keep this thrift boutique in mind! The people are very friendly and the proceeds from the store go to the Rescue, adoptions and spay and neuter!
